This Friday, Ian Bailey LRPS, CPAGB judges the 3rd Merit PDI competition
On Friday 21 February we welcome Tal Chohan https://www.tcwildlifephotography.com with his wildlife talk “From Sandwell to India.” Tal is based in Birmingham and first got started on wildlife photography visiting his family in India. He has appeared on BBC Television.
Looking a little further ahead, the hand in night for the Challenge Cup - The Panel Competition - is Friday 13 March. Give it some thought. This competition is for a panel of 3, 4 or 5 related prints. Rules can be found at http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides
The Classic Dirt Bike Show https://www.classicdirtbikeshow.co.uk is at Telford International Centre this weekend 15 and 16 February.
The Landscape Photographer of the Year https://www.lpoty.co.uk is open for entries until 5 April. There was no competition last year but it is now back with a prize fund of £20,000 with £10,000 to the overall winner. Categories include “Classic View”, “Urban Life”, “Your View” and Black and White. There are also a number of special awards.
If Natural History is your forte then Nature Photographer of the Year https://naturephotographeroftheyear.com/enter-contest/npoty-2020/ is open for entries until 10 May 2020.
Midphot Exhibition will be at Smethwick PS club room between 18 and 22 March.
