This Friday we welcome David Eaves ARPS, DPAGB http://daveaves.co.uk from Leamington Spa Photographic Society https://www.lsps.org.uk with his talk “East to West” where David will be showing pictures from his travels.

Friday 17 January is also the hand in night for the second merit print competition. Please send a digital image of your entry through this link http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides . If you’re unsure of the rules you can read them on the same link.

On 24 January Stephen Clifford CPAGB, BPE3*, AFIAP from Cannock Photographic Society http://www.cannockps.co.uk makes a return visit, (he gave a talk on 6 December 2019) this time to judge the 2nd Merit Print Competition.

On 31 January we have two more talented club members to entertain you. In the first half, Peter Rees FRPS, MPAGB, EFIAP/p will “Return to an Island” with images and poetry. In the second half, Ed Philips will show images from his recent successful exhibition at The Photo Space Ludlow.

Midphot https://www.mcpf.co.uk/midphot/ is open for entries until 8 February. You can find the rules and conditions of entry on the link. Calvin has agreed to coordinate the print entry. Please register and pay for your print entry online and print a copy of your entry form to be included with the prints. You should also submit a pdi version of your print. Projected images must be in jpeg format maximum 1600 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high.

Tattoo Freeze comes to Telford International Centre on 1 and 2 February https://www.tattoofreeze.com/tickets Besides tattoo artists there will be live music, burlesque and Aardman clay modelling workshops.

The Photography Show https://www.photographyshow.com will be at The NEC from 14 - 17 March. Use the promotion code PAGBTPS20 to reduce the price of a standard day ticket from £14.95 to £11.96. There are no further discounts for over 60’s tickets which remain at £11.95
