This Friday we welcome back Barbara Lawton FRPS, DPAGB with her lecture “Not a Million Miles Away.” Barbara is an excellent nature photographer and all her images have been taken locally.
The Learner Hour will provide members with an opportunity of a critique of their images for the first PDI competition.
On Friday 4 October David Gibbins ARPS, APAGB, EFIAP/b, BPE5* from Nottingham will join us for the first time with his lecture “My Photography.”
Friday 4 October is also the hand in night for the first merit PDI competition. You can enter up to 3 images of size 1400 x 1050 pixels. Don’t forget that Friday 11 October is the hand in night for tboth he mobile image competition and the themed competition. This year’s theme is “colour blue”

As part of the Festival there are 2 events you may be interested in. Both are free exhibitions based at Ironbridge Gorge Museum galleries. Finally, Bebbington Salon http://www.bebingtonps.org.uk/BebingtonSalon.html is open for entries until 27 November 2019. This Salon is slightly different to others. There is no online entry. You have to submit images on a cd. Please ensure that you understand the rules before entering, and look particularly at rule 3. Club members have been caught out in the past!
