This Friday we have an “Evening with Ray Brammall ARPS, DPAGB, APAGB, EFIAP” He's travelling a long distance from Doncaster and it would be nice to have a full house. Ray’s a member of Doncaster Camera Club http://www.doncastercameraclub.co.uk and will bring us some fabulous prints in a wide variety of styles.

On Friday 31 May Ralph Duckett MPAGB, APAGB, EFIAP will judge the 4th Merit Print Competition.
There’s several hand in nights for competitions coming up in the near future. 31 May is the hand in night for the Finals PDI competition and 14 June is the hand in night for the finals print competition.
In the recent Photofolio competition club members gained the following results: Rusell Price had an MCPF ribbon with “Flying Hare” and 1 acceptance; Norman O’Neill had an MCPF ribbon for “Ophelia Strikes” and 2 acceptances; Tony Thomas had 2 acceptances; Calvin Downes had an MCPF ribbon for “Water Swirls” and 2 acceptances; and Roger Evans had an MCPF Ribbon for “Flying Jaz”, another MCPF Ribbon for “Elaine versus Dina” and 2 acceptances.
The Photofolio Exhibition opens at Smethwick Photographic Club on Wednesday 5 June at 7.30pm and runs until Saturday 8 June http://www.mcpf.co.uk/photofolio/
The club will have a stall at Wellington Midsummer Fayre http://www.wellington-shropshire.gov.uk/event/midsummer-fayre-2/ on Saturday 8 June. This is an annual event for the club where we put on a print exhibition in Wellington Churchyard Tony is looking for helpers to erect the gazebo and set up the exhibition. if you want to display prints then bring them to the club a couple of weeks before the event. If you want to sell anything then the club will retain 20% of the selling price as commission.
Cosford Air Show https://www.cosfordairshow.co.uk is on Sunday 9 June from 8am onwards. If you want to go then tickets must be bought online before the event.
