The new season starts on Friday 7 September with a social evening and exhibition of members prints. All are welcomed to attend. The exhibition will be opened by Cllr Cindy Mason-Morris who is the Mayor of Wellington and chairman of Wellington Festival 2018 http://www.wellington-shropshire.gov.uk/event/wellington-festival/ Programmes for the 2018/19 season will be available on the night.
Tony is looking for members prints to display for the exhibition. Please bring them to the club room this Friday, 31 August from 8pm.
The 14th September sees the first talk of the new season when our own Norman O’Neill EFIAP, DPAGB, BPE4* will deliver the Doug Lewis Memorial Lecture. The title of his talk will be “My Road to Distinctions.”
Calvin will lead the first of the year’s Learner Hour at 7pm on 14 September with Photoshop Tips. The session is open to all members. If you have ideas for future meetings please come along and share your thoughts with other members.
On 21 September, Irene will lead a critique evening when you get the chance to have your work critiqued to help you with external distinctions or internal club competitions. Please bring prints or your images on a memory stick.
