Looking a little further ahead, we will have a return visit from Libby Smith EFIAP, MPAGB,  APAGB (sponsored by Permajet) on Friday 11 March. Libby is from Carluke Camera Club http://www.carluke-cc.org.uk/ and on Sunday 13 March she will present a workshop at the club room from 1030am until 5pm.The workshop will include methods to soft proof and  prepare images for printing including methods of reducing ink and saving money! There will also be suggestions on the ways to get the most out of your pictures. Tickets are £25 for the full day workshop and booking is essential. Contact Tony on 01952 617170 or tonythomas5@gmail.com Last year’s workshop was a sell out.

Calvin has arranged some practical sessions for the learner's group. The first one is called “Click and compare” and will be on Friday 11 March when the group will meet at All Saints Church at the earlier time of 6.30pm to take photographs in the area. Directions and car parks can be found at  https://allsaintswellington.wordpress.com/about-us/where/ On the following day group members will exchange one image with a “nominated partner” Each member will then process their own image and the partners image and bring them both along to the meeting on 18 March where we will compare and contrast the images and discuss the different approaches to taking and processing.

If the weather is not suitable we will do a 'still life' session in the Clubhouse (under existing lighting!).

Anyone (Intermediate/Advanced or whatever) interested please meet outside the Church. I'm also looking for any 'advanced' members who would be interested and are willing to help 'guide/advise' those wanting it.

IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO ATTEND, PLEASE EMAIL CALVIN (calvin.downes@btinternet.com) so he has email addresses of all who will take part.
