This Friday there’s a “Rose Beaman Studio Evening” at the club where you have the chance to photograph a professional model with lighting provided and arranged by Jayne. Norman and Jayne will both be there to help you work with a professional model to get your best shot. Don’t forget to bring a camera!

On Friday 18 October Van Greaves FRPS https://vangreaves.com presents a PDI/AV talk at 7.30pm. Van has published at least 10 illustrated outdoor books since 1980. He gained a Fellowship of the Royal Photographic Society in 1991 with an applied panel of mountain pictures. There is a wide variety of different images on his website.

Finally, our Panel competition won’t be until next May but if you’re looking for inspiration then the MidPhot Panel Exhibition https://mcpf.co.uk/midphot-panel-exhibition-2024 will be at Smethwick from 12 noon to 4pm on Saturday 26 October.
