Welcome back to our online talks after the Christmas break. I hope that you are refreshed and ready to continue with the excellent talks that Tony has arranged. It’s likely that we will not meet at the club room until March at the earliest, but of course, I will keep you up to date with any changes.
The programme starts this Friday, 7 January when John Boyd ARPS, DPAGB presents “Sport and Nature.” John is a former BBC sports presenter and commentator and after retiring, he developed his sports photography alongside his love of wildlife photography. On Friday 14 January, award winning landscape and portrait photographer Carmen Norman ARPS, CPAGB, BPE1* https://www.carmennorman.co.uk/index.asp presents “Lake District Moods” Carmen says “I love photography and i love capturing the stunning scenery in the Lake District.” Her work has been published in various magazines and she has been shortlisted for both Outdoor Photographer of the Year and Landscape Photographer of the Year.

The Smethwick International Exhibition will take place online this year between 8 and 16 January. Finally, all the Ironbridge Gorge Museum sites are closed until 21 January https://www.ironbridge.org.uk/plan/opening-times/ Blists Hill reopens on 22 January and until 10 April 2022 it will only open between 10am and 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
