The programme until the beginning of March is now available at https://wrekinartspc.com/main-programme-2021-2022 and will continue on Zoom for the foreseeable future. You will see that the hand in date for the second PDI competition is 4 February and you can find the rules and link to the entry system at https://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides.

Steve Rex recently had a “Picture of the Week” published in Amateur Photographer. Unfortunately I’ve been unable to find a link to the photo, but I can tell you that it is one of his ethereal sunrise photos. Well done Steve!

There’s a vacancy for a member of Wrekin Arts Photographic Club to join The Belfrey Arts Trust. This is the organisation which owns the buildings we occupy. If anyone is interested, please contact me and I can give you more information.

Finally, I briefly mentioned Midphot https://www.mcpf.co.uk/midphot-2/ in the last Newsletter. It has now been confirmed that the competition will be online only therefore there will be no prints. The 4 sections are Open Colour Projected, Open Monochrome Projected, Nature PDI and Scapes. Entries are now being accepted and the closing date is 16 February. Entry fee is 75p per image and the full rules can be found on the link.
