On Friday 25 June we welcome Glyn Edmunds https://glynedmunds.com with his “African Wildlife” talk. Glynn is a retired semi-professional photographer who has been doing serious photography for more than 50 years. He has been a photography teacher, involved in exhibitions and has won many accolades for his work over the years. Tonight Glyn will concentrate on African Wildlife but you can see other aspects of his work through his website link.
Roger has done rather well with his photographic skills in competitions and exhibitions. He has just won 2nd prize and a special merit prize in the gymnastics section of the World Sports Photography Awards 2021 https://www.worldsportsphotographyawards.com/winners Roger says, “I was beaten to the gold by a shot of the best gymnast in the world, Simone Byles taken by one of the best sports photographers in the world, Marc Aspland, so not too shabby.” He has also been awarded his EFIAP platinum - a distinction also awarded to Calvin. Meanwhile, Norman has received the his EFIAP Bronze award. Congratulations to all 3. Tom won Gold Medal in the Open Monochrome section at The Robin Hood Exhibition 2021 together 2 Commended images http://photoexhib.com/robinhood/results-2021/results.htm Norman had a Commended Image in the Nature section of the same exhibition.
