There’s been a change to the published programme this Friday. Ken Bryan is unable to visit so Tony has stepped into the breach at the last minute to give a “Retrospective” lecture with his prints. Tony is the longest serving club member. He joined in 1980, so he has 40 years experience to share with us tonight.
Friday 13 March is also the hand in night for the Challenge Cup (Panels) competition. See http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides for the rules of this competition.
On 20 March, John Hartshorne LRPS, DPAGB, BPE3* will judge the Challenge Cup competition.
Looking a little further ahead, Bob Dennis CPAGB, APAGB, AFIAP, BPE4* will present the Bebington Salon on 27 March. Come along and see which club members had acceptances in this Salon.
Friday 27 March is also the hand in night for both PDIs and prints in the Landscape Competition. Work for this competition must be new and not have been entered in any previous club competition. You can of course enter any of the work in subsequent merit competitions. See the link in the second paragraph if you’re unsure of the rules.
You’ve probably heard by now that the Photography Show due to be held at the NEC from 14 to 17 March has been postponed until September. If you’ve already bought tickets see the information on this link https://www.photographyshow.com
