I hope that you’ve had a wonderful summer and have managed to take lots of images!
The new programme is on the club website http://wrekinartspc.com/main-programme-2019-2020 and covers every week up to 18 July 2020 when we will have the club dinner. I think you’ll agree that Tony has produced an excellent programme again for this year. There’s a mixture of new speakers, old favourites and a sprinkling of club members!
The New Season starts on 30 August with the opening night social and exhibition of members work. Tony is looking for your prints to display on this night so please bring them to the clubroom on either 16 or 23 August. The exhibition and new season will be opened by the Mayor of Wellington, Cllr. Anthony Lowe.
Looking a little further ahead, the first PDI competition hand in night is 4 October and the following Friday is the hand in night for the double competition of Mobile Device Images and Images with the theme of “Blue.”
If you’ve posted images on Instagram over the last 12 months then there’s a chance to win £500 in each of 10 categories with a £5,000 prize for the overall winner in this competition https://www.photobox.co.uk/pipa/?ectrans=1&uid=39745888&utm_campaign=n_all_w33_20190812_uk_lnc_pipa_1_bau_ac1189613175_web_1205827518&utm_medium=email&utm_source=photobox
