This Friday Linda Bell DPAGB, BPE5*, EFIAP judges the first merit print competition.

There’s no Learner hour this week but it will held again on 15 November at 6.45pm.

On Friday 15 November we welcome Tony Gervis FRPS http://www.tonygervis.com with “Visions of America.” This will be a selection of Tony’s pictures taken over 25 years of visiting America.

At the Inter Club print competition in Blackburn on 27 October, the club missed the final by 1 point thereby loosing the automatic right to enter next year’s competition. Back to the drawing board at Leicester next April!

There’s a couple of local exhibitions to tell you about. Smethwick International Exhibition of Photography https://www.smethwickinternational.co.uk is open for entries until 13 November, whilst Bebington Salon http://www.bebingtonps.org.uk/Downloads/BSOP2020.pdf entries close on 27 November. If work is accepted in the Bebington Salon then you’ll see it at the club next year on 27 March when Bob Dennis will show entries from the Salon.

Finally, Ed’s exhibition at The Photo Place in Ludlow http://www.thephotospace.co.uk/en/accueil.html closes on Saturday 23 November. If you haven’t been yet then it’s well worth going to see. Opening hours 10.30am to 4.30pm Wednesday to Saturday.
