This Friday we have the second of Wrekin Arts club member talks when Roger Evans EFIAP/b, FBPE, MPAGB presents “Every Picture Tells a Story”. If you thought that Roger just took sports images then you’ll be in for s surprise.

In the Learner Hour starting at 6.45pm Calvin will concentrate on Photoshop Tips and Techniques with this week and next week

On Friday 5 October Michael Windle MPAGB, ARPS https://www.michaelwindlephotography.com visits the club for the first time with his talk “A Stroll on the Wild Side” when we will see some superb images from an award winning nature photographer.

Friday 5 October is also the hand in night for the first merit PDI competition. Looking a little further ahead, Friday 12 October is the hand in night for the Mobile Device Competition when you can submit up to 3 images taken on a smartphone or tablet using the online system mentioned above.

Finally, Kate Maxwell’s exhibition https://www.katemaxwellphotos.com at the Photo Space in Ludlow http://www.thephotospace.co.uk/fr/accueil.html will end this Saturday, 29 September. The next exhibition will open on 17 October when former picture editor of The Times, Paul Sanders http://www.paulsanders.biz will open his exhibition “Solace”.
