This Friday we welcome Andrea Hargreaves EFIPA, DPAGB, BPE2*, PSA4* http://www.andrea.hargreavesphotography.co.uk/index.php with her creative lecture “The Art of Metamorphosis.”
In the leaner hour starting at 6.46pm Calvin will lead the group in resizing, cropping and preparing PDIs.
Next Friday, Paddy Ruske http://www.ruskepics.co.uk presents his lecture, “Iceland, Land of Contrasts” where we have a chance to see Paddy’s work as he takes us on a journey around Iceland.
The Learner Hour will start at 6.30pm this week to allow time for a visit to Wellington Churchyard.
The first merit PDI competition hand in night is on 6 October. Please remember when choosing images for this and subsequent competitions that the rules for the Nature Competition have been amended this year. They now match the Landscape Competition so that all work must be new. See the rules for club competitions on this page http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides/ or in your printed programme.
Finally, in the last Newsletter I gave you a link for Wellington Festival which is being staged at various venues in the town between Saturday 14 and Sunday 29 October. The link has been updated and can now be found at https://issuu.com/plus2media/docs/wellington_festival_2017 When you are on this site you can also search for Photography News and many other photography related publications.
