Wrekin Arts Photographic Club Newsletter 13 2016/17 14 February 2017

This Friday, Ann Miles FRPS, MPAGB, EFIAP, FBPE from Cambridge http://www.pin-sharp.co.uk (supported by Permajet)  gives her lecture “Monochrome My Way.” Ann will explore the different moods that we can create using the monochrome medium. There will be some discussion of the software and techniques available for making the most of your digital conversions. It should be a fascinating lecture. In the Learner Hour Calvin will do further work on preparing for portrait shots so members attending should take their cameras! In future weeks the group will invite club members to have their picture taken providing both practice for the photographer and a source of images to be put on the website. If you recall it was agreed at the last AGM that we would put pictures of club members on the website to enable people ’to put a face to a name’ There will be further information in future Newsletters.

This Friday is also the final hand in night for the 3rd Merit PDI competition. You can enter up to 3 images. Rules, guidance and a link to the online entry system can be found at http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides/
