Wrekin Arts Photographic Club Newsletter 12 2016/17 31 January 2017

This week, John Haines from Great Barr Photographic Society will judge the 2nd Merit Print competition. Results  of this and all other competitions can be found on the club website under the “competition results” tab on the home page http://wrekinartspc.com When you’re on this page, have a look at the search box at the bottom. It’s very powerful and should help you find specific content from past Newsletters.

Calvin will lead The Learners hour at 6.45pm with a practical session on Lighting for Portraits - don’t forget to bring your cameras!

Friday is also the hand in night for the Challenge Cup. This competition is for a panel of 3 to 5 related prints and you can enter up to 3 panels. Full details including rules and labelling of panels can be found on the “rules” page http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides/

On Friday 10 February Barbara Lawton from Smethwick Photographic Society will judge the panel competition. This is a change of judge from the printed programme as John Hartshorne is ill and won’t be able to attend.

In the  Leaners hour, Calvin will lead on a critique session for PDIs. Entry for the 3rd merit PDI competition is very soon.
