I think we’ll be in for am interesting evening!
Before that, Calvin will demonstrate resizing images and using the web entry system for competitions in the Learners Hour starting at 6.45pm.
This Friday is also the last chance to enter the 2nd merit PDI competition when the online entries close at 11.59pm. The link for online entries is here http://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides/ along with the rules and guidance on preparing images.
On Friday 13 January, Ken Hudson CPAGB BPE2* from Handsworth Photographic Society (now renamed North Birmingham Photographic Society) will judge the 2nd Merit PDI competition.

On Saturday 21 January we will have the Wrekin International Salon 2016 awards presentation at The Belfrey Theatre adjacent to the club room together with an audio visual presentation of all the accepted images. The event starts at 2pm and all club members and their guests are invited to attend. Club members can come to the event free of charge but guests will pay £2. There will be a raffle with lots of good prizes including photographic paper and mount board. So bring some money with you! A lot of work goes into organising the Salon. Besides being Salon Chairman, Jon Baker produces the AV presentation and chooses music to suit the mood of the images. The Salon Committee would like to see as many members there as possible so you can show your appreciation.
