On Saturday 11 June, the club has a stall at the annual Wellington Midsummer Fayre https://wellingtonsoup.org/events/wellington-midsummer-fayre/ held at All Saints Church in the centre of Wellington. The event starts at 10am and Tony is looking for help to transport and erect the gazebo and display boards. In particular, if anyone has a transit style van or a trailer of suitable size to move the display boards to the church then please contact Tony. Members will be able to sell their prints on the day and the club will charge 20% commission. Please let Tony have your prints as soon as possible.

Geoff Owen has a Sigma 170-500mm APO AF zoom lens f5 - f6.3 for sale. Geoff says that the lens is in excellent condition. It has had very little use and there is no fungus nor oil on the blades. It’s a Nikon mount lens and has a rotating collar for a tripod or monopod. It comes in the original Sigma padded box with original front and rear lens caps and lens hood. If you’re interested then please contact Geoff on club nights or on 07481 911699.

And finally, there are two 1940’s events providing photo opportunities in the near future. The first one is at Blists Hill Museum on 18 June http://www.ironbridge.org.uk/plan-your-visit/events-and-exhibitions-calendar/blitz-hill-a-1940-s-evening-on-the-home-front/view/2016-06-18 I know that many of you have passport tickets for the museum. Unfortunately they are not valid for this evening event and you must buy a separate ticket in advance of the event.

One week later on 25 and 26 June repeated again on 2 and 3 July Severn Valley Railway http://www.svr.co.uk/SEItem.aspx?a=49 are putting on their 1940’s weekend with costumed re-enactors. Events are taking place at all stations on the line and you can make savings by pre-booking a ticket.
