This Friday we welcome Peter Gennard MFIAP, EFAIP/p to judge the finals colour and mono print competitions.

Next Friday, 28 June, is the last formal club meeting of the season when we have the AGM. Please come and support your club. We’re always looking for new ideas so perhaps you could think of joining the committee.

David Wraith sadly passed away on Sunday 16 June at The Severn Hospice, Telford. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

The Club’s Annual Awards Presentation Evening will be held at the Ramada Hotel, Telford http://www.ramadatelford.co.uk/contact-us/getting-here/  on Saturday 6 July at 7pm for 7.30pm. Tickets are £26 each.. The dinner is open to members and their partners and gives everyone a chance to socialise outside the club room. Please let Sheila know your meal choices and ensure that you pay before the evening.  If you have any special dietary requirements please let Sheila know as soon as possible.

There’s a Steampunk Festival at Blists Hill this weekend, 22 & 23 June https://www.ironbridge.org.uk/events/family-events/the-town-that-never-was-steampunk-festival/ The Ministry of Steampunk will be transforming Blists Hill into a magical, mysterious world of Martian invasion and ultimate human triumph all with the accompanying Steampunk sights and sounds! Annual passport tickets are valid for the event.

The PAGB Inter Club PDI competition will be held at Warwick University’s Arts Centre https://www.warwickartscentre.co.uk/visit/ on Saturday 13 July starting at 10am. Tickets are £11 through the PAGB site https://pagbhost.co.uk/main/main.php Wrekin Arts is 1 of 3 Clubs representing the MCPF in these National Championships.

Finally, The Midland Salon http://www.midland-salon.com is open for entries until 14 July. There are open Colour Print and Mono Print sections plus Open Colour, Open Mono, Nature and Creative sections for projected images.
