In this talk I share my best fungi images. These include a wide variety of species as well as techniques and styles. I explain different approaches and the importance of several factors in this sort of photography.
Subjects and styles include:
i. the fungi which can be found outdoors (mainly during autumn), and how to shoot them
ii. macro approaches, including focus stacking
iii. the effects of light, colour, angle of view, composition, special lenses, bokeh, and the presence of small animals
iv. using equipment such as LED panels, reflectors, spray bottles, tripods, and clamps.
v. post processing to bring out the best in mushroom images
My aim in this talk is to do two things - entertain and inspire you with a varied range of beautiful images, and provide ideas, tips and techniques for you to experiment and learn new photographic approaches.
