Calvin gives us a two part meeting.
Part 1 is about using different focal length lenses, but predominantly wide angle, using some of his images to explain why the lens was used and considerations when taking.
NOTE - I have decided my original talk was too much ti fit in and too much talking so my talk now will concentrate on WIDE ANGLE PHOTOGRAPHY and all else I was going to talk about (Including Wide angle) is in THIS PAPER (V4 updated/corrected on 7/3/23) that is also on our web page under LINKS AND GUIDES/USEFUL TUTORIALS.
Part 2 is a workshop on photoshop. For this section, Calvin is asking people to send 1 photo to him, preferably in RAW format, that he can work on during the session to get the best out of the image and explain some techniques. He will pick out 2 or 3 that he feels best allows him to demonstrate aspects of photoshop and his thinking process when doing post-production work.

Details of how to send images -
I would prefer either the RAW file or a TIF file (open your RAW file then save as TIF .. without any changes!). I will take a JPG, but as they are limited in what can be done, they are not as good for this purpose.
Due to likely size of files it would be best to use WETRANSFER to send the image to me (calvin.downes@btinternet.com) - It’s free . Wetransfer can be accessed at https://wetransfer.com/ (just click on ‘I just want to send files’ box then fill in the pop-up box ‘UPLOAD FILES’ by clicking on the BLUE CROSS to add a file and typing in my email address to send to and put title as ‘photo for calvins talk’.
