Mike says “I am an amateur photographer from Cleethorpes in North East Lincolnshire. I started taking photographs from a young age, following in my dads footsteps (see his blog here), although it has only been in more recent years that I have taken it more seriously.
I am a member of Cleethorpes Camera Club as well as some other small photographic groups.

My photographic interests are varied and include Street Photography, Documentary, Sport and Portrait photography and I also do like to play with some of my images in Photoshop and creating composites.

I have gained a number of photographic awards including the DPAGB with PDIs and the LRPS after taking a HNC course in digital imaging.
I have been entering photographic exhibitions for the last few years both the national (BPE) exhibitions and international (FIAP) exhibitions and have gained both BPE3* and EFIAP awards from these organisations.”

This talk is a bit of all sorts of photography and techniques and is split into 2 parts with straight photography (Documentary, Street, Sport and Projects) in the 1st half and more creative/created images in the 2nd, including for a couple of the images, how I planned the construction and the thought process involved to get to the finished image.
