This Friday Tim Pile will judge the Finals Night PDI competition

The Merit Competition results are now available. Norman won the PDI Advanced and Colour Print Advanced while Calvin won the Mono Print Advanced Competition. In the Intermediate Section Chris won the PDI; Ian won the Colour Print and Tracy won the Mono Print competitions.

On Friday 29 May, Tony North will present his Zoom talk - “Fungi.” Tony says, “My aim in this talk is to do two things - entertain and inspire you with a varied range of beautiful images, and provide ideas, tips and techniques for you to experiment and learn new photographic approaches.”

The following Friday, 5 June is the revised date for our AGM. All members are encouraged to attend.

Looking a little further ahead, hand in night for the Finals print Competition is 19 June. This will be judged by Derek Danks. This will be Derek’s first visit to Wrekin Arts as a judge.

Finally, the club will have a stall at Wellington Midsummer Fayre https://wellingtonsoup.org/events/wellington-midsummer-fayre/ in All Saints Churchyard on Saturday 13 June from 10am to 3pm. Everybody’s welcome to help with the event on the day. More details later.
