Please note that registration for the Finals Night PDI competition is now open and will close at midnight on Wednesday 6 May. Tim Pile will judge the competition on 22 May.
You can only enter this competition if you’ve had images in at least 2 of this years’ Merit PDI competitions. You can use work entered in earlier rounds including winning submissions or you can choose new work. Full rules and a link to the online entry system is at https://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides
Ed Philips’ exhibition “Painted with Light” https://weston-park.com/painted-with-light/ continues at Weston Park and will close on 29 Apri. This will be your last chance to see it!
Finally, the club, led by Norman and Steve, entered the MCPF Championships at Leicester last weekend. This was for PDIs only as the club has already qualified for The PAGB Inter Club Print Championships to be held at Harper Adams University in October.
Wrekin Arts came 2nd behind Smethwick PS (A great achievement I think you’ll agree) and will represent MCPF with 3 other clubs at the PAGB Inter-club PDI Championships at Warwick School CV34 6PP on Sunday 19 July. Maybe a date for your diary. Besides seeing some outstanding images, sponsors will be giving discounts on equipment and as ever, there’s a draw with some great prizes. Calvin won an A3 printer a few years ago. Well worth going to support our club.
