On Friday 26 February Sharon Prenton Jones FIPF, ARPS, DPAGB, ABPE, EFIAP/p and Robert Prenton Jones EFAIP/p, BPE5* AWPF from Colwyn Bay https://www.prentonjonesphotography.co.uk present their online talk “The Art of Composite Photography”. The talk will cover the thinking behind some of the images and the fun involved on the shoot and playing with Photoshop afterwards. Hints, tips and plenty more. Sharon and Robert are two of the best composite producers in the country so don’t forget to put your pen and notebook by the screen! Although no dates have been set for the Natural History and Landscape Competitions, the committee has decided to increase the number of entries from 3 to 4 for these two competitions only as there won’t be any print entries this year. Remember that for these 2 classes, you can’t use images that have been entered in previous PDI competitions.You can check the rules at https://wrekinartspc.com/competition-links-organisations-and-club-guides

If you still want to produce competition standard prints then the PAGB Masters of Print Competition http://www.thepagb.org.uk/competitions/pagb-masters-of-print/ is open for entries until 15 April 2021. The rules have been modified this year and are available with the revised timetable in the link shown at the beginning of this paragraph.

Finally, The Photography Show https://www.photographyshow.com/#/ has moved online this year. It will take place on 6 and 7 March. Registration is free and enables you to see a lot of demonstrations and workshops for no charge although there is a charge for “Super Stage” events as in previous years.
