Wrekin Arts Photographic Club Newsletter 16 2016/17 4 April 2017

This Friday, John Holt ARPS, DPAGB, BPE4* from Wolverhampton Photographic Society http://www.wolverhamptonps.co.uk/index.htm will judge Landscape Competition. Calvin will lead the Learner Hour at 6.45pm.

Friday 7 April is also the hand in night for the 3rd Merit Print Competition. Please bring your prints to the club and use the online entry system to submit a digital image of your prints. Next Friday (14 April) is Good Friday so there won’t be a club meeting. The club meets next on Friday 21 April when Michael Krier FRPS, MA(Photography), EFIAP judges the 3rd Merit Print Competition. 

Calvin will lead a print and pdi critique in the Learner Hour starting at 6.45pm. 

Hand in nights for the 4th Merit PDI competition is 28 April and 5 May for the Natural History competition.

The Societies of Photographers are running 3 competitions during April - Fine Art, Spring into Action and Street Culture. You can enter up to 3 images in each competition free of charge. Terry Hewlett ARPS is running a number of Photography courses http://www.photographyworkshops.co.uk/section768526.html at his venue in Chippenham, Wiltshire. Courses include creative portrait and wedding photography.

Finally, the Midland Salon http://www.midland-salon.com is now open for entries. There are 6 sections open colour prints, open monochrome prints, open colour projected images, nature projected images and creative projected images.
